Karate Lessons

"My name is Lisa and I am a single mother of two children who has recently had the benefit of forming a relationship with the Big Brothers Big Sisters community. We continue to be overwhelmed by the love and support that this relationship has afforded us.

Most recently, my son was offered an opportunity to enroll in a 10 session Karate class at Douglas Community Centre starting this month. He has wanted me to register him in karate for the past couple of years now, but due to finances, I have been unable to afford him this.

I am so grateful that the community of Langley has such amazing supports put into place. Your generosity has made my son really happy and very excited to finally be able to try his hand at karate.

I would like to thank you for making this opportunity possible. Your gift to this organization and to my family will be treasured by a young boy and his mother.

Sincerely, Lisa"
